Shiway & Sadie Scholarship Fund
The Shiway & Sadie Scholarship Fund, benefiting the Fairbanks Children's Museum, ensures that the ongoing generosity of our community is leveraged to successfully drive the museum’s impact on the lives of generations of visitors to come. The Fund allows our organization to drive its mission of connecting and inspiring families through the power of play while carrying on the legacy of Shiway and Sadie Barry. Endowments serve as a source of perpetual permanent funding.

Want to nominate a child or family for a membership, camp, class, or party? Email us and share your contact info, the nominated family's contact info, why you would like to see them receive a scholarship.
What this scholarship does:

help families through the gift of museum membership

assist families with camp and class tuition for their kiddos

celebrate birthdays with free or reduced museum rentals

sponsor field trips and workshops for students in need
In its first year of establishment, the Scholarship Fund will provide 20 free memberships to families in the Fairbanks Community.
